About

Born and raised in Michigan, I have packed a lot of life into my 35+ years on this planet. I used to envy those with wisdom, wanting so badly to be able to obtain what they had, impatient with where I was in life, and how limited my view was. Now, I know that wisdom isn’t something you can learn. It’s something you are given after experiencing what life has to offer. Which makes me a lot less worried about obtaining wisdom, and a lot more aware of the struggle, growth, grief, and contentment those, who have shared their wisdom with me through the years, have experienced.

I write this blog for myself, and for others. As a reminder of where I’ve been, what I’ve gone through, and the path I took there. And as encouragement for those who are on a similar path, to feel less alone, and (hopefully) to learn from my mistakes and approach life in a different way.
